An essential part of his practice involves learning from and engaging with different production processes, both industrial and artisanal. This exploration has led him to develop a deep interest in the cultural legacy embedded within many of these techniques—one that often extends far beyond the value or function of the objects they produce, as these practices frequently form and sustain entire communities.

After working extensively within the luxury industry, particularly in interior design, and pursuing a more refined aesthetic, he chose to explore a more raw and natural language. This led him to work with one of the materials that has accompanied humanity since the earliest civilizations: clay.

Inspired by the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, he sought to discover beauty and sophistication within this humble material, developing pieces and objects whose impact lies not in the cost of their materials, but in their process, exploration, and final outcome. Along the way, he learned and experimented with various traditional techniques, including wood-fired and gas-fired kiln processes.
